I was invited to participate in an art project to benefit The Special Olympics, which got its start when approximately 20 snowboards were donated to the cause. Linda Mills the director of Special Olympics Broward came up with the idea to collaborate with the nonprofit Artists with Autism and have the boards painted by artists and auctioned off at a fundraising event. It was so much fun to see all the different designs created on the boards and as a result, the event was a huge success.
